Stepping Away for Now

by Henrik Bacilieri

I’ve written dozens of posts on this blog—some excited, some uncertain, some proud, some reflective. But this one feels different. Heavier, maybe. More personal.

I’m stepping away from the blog for the foreseeable future.

This decision hasn’t come lightly, and I owe it to you—whether you’ve read every post or just a few minutes of one—to explain why.

Life Behind the Curtain

The last few months have brought a mix of incredible highs and unexpected challenges. On paper, things look amazing—my portfolio has grown well past $8 million under management, my real estate journey is maturing, crypto has been strong, and I’ve even found someone special I’m building with.

But success doesn’t inoculate you from struggle.

I’ve been going through some personal issues that have made it hard to write, to share, to even show up publicly the way I used to. These challenges are deeply personal—rooted in identity, privacy, pressure, and the weight of rapid growth.

As a result, I’ve made a decision that might seem drastic to some:

I’ve deleted every social media platform I used to be on.
I’ve hired a cybersecurity expert to scrub my name and data from every traceable database, site, and directory possible.

Why I’m Doing This

This isn’t a marketing stunt. This isn’t about mystique or reinvention.

This is about protection—of my mental space, of the people I love, of my time, and of my next steps.

Some things in life require silence to process.
Not every evolution has to be livestreamed.

Right now, I need space—without pressure to perform, post, or package myself. And that means taking a step back from this blog.

Will I Be Back?

Maybe. I hope so.

Writing here has helped me grow, reflect, and connect. It’s made my journey feel less isolated. It’s helped some of you who’ve reached out, and your stories have inspired me in return.

But I don’t want to write just to “keep up.”
I want to write when I have something real to say.

When I’m ready to return—if and when that time comes—you’ll know.

In the Meantime

If you’ve followed this journey since the early posts—thank you.
If you’ve just joined in recent months—thank you too.
If you’re someone in the trenches, trying to figure out money, identity, goals, or direction—keep going.

I don’t have it all figured out. But I’m learning that having peace is just as important as having strategy.

That’s what I’m chasing now.

Until next time—whenever that may be.
