Back to the Blog: A Lot Can Happen in a Few Months

by Henrik Bacilieri

First off, let me say:
I’m sorry for the silence.
It’s been a minute—October was my last blog post, and if you’ve been following this journey from the beginning, I appreciate your patience more than you know.

Truth is, life—and work—got intense.
Not in a bad way. Just... fast.

Over the last few months, something shifted. What started as a quiet grind—learning, taking on small clients, balancing risk and fear—suddenly became real business.

📈 From $30,000 to Over $1 Million in Managed Portfolios

Back when I landed my first client with $30,000 under management, I was ecstatic. That number felt massive.

Today, I’m handling portfolios that total over $1 million.
I have to pause writing that.

This isn’t me saying “I’ve made it”—I haven’t. Not yet. But it’s a moment.
It’s a checkpoint. One of those times where you look up, mid-hustle, and realize you’ve climbed further than you thought.

💼 Work Got Serious, Fast

The last three months have felt like years.

I’ve onboarded new clients—some referred, some from cold intros, some who found me through mutual networks.
Each one comes with their own story, their own goals, and their own fears.
And managing money—real money—requires serious presence.
You can’t fake this.

That’s why I paused blogging. I didn’t want to rush half-hearted posts.
I promised to document this journey honestly, and honestly?
I was just trying to keep up.

💬 What This Season Taught Me

1. Systems are everything.
When I had two clients, I could juggle everything in my head.
Now? I use CRMs, templates, scheduling software—because my brain isn’t scalable, but my process can be.

2. People don’t want perfection. They want trust.
I used to think I had to “sound smart.” But the more clients I work with, the more I realize they want honesty, clarity, and someone who will walk the road with them—not above them.

3. Saying “no” is part of growth.
This was hard. But I’ve turned down a few prospects who weren’t a good fit.
I’m learning to protect my time, energy, and reputation.

🧠 Why I’m Still Writing

Even as things grow, I still believe in documenting this process.
This blog started as a place to reflect.
To tell the truth.
To show that success isn’t a straight line—it’s messy, slow, exciting, and sometimes overwhelming.

So I’m back.
Not because I have more time, but because I’ve made space for it.

🔜 What’s Coming Next

This year, I want to dive deeper:

  • Real estate experiments

  • Crypto growing pains

  • What I’m doing with larger portfolios

  • Mental health and rest in the middle of all this

  • Teaching clients (and myself) to think long-term

If you’re still here reading—thank you.
We’re just getting started.
